Lost Tribe Sound Anyone who doesn't purchase this album is the real loser here. TGL are not only gentlemen, but they're truly a gift to the world of music. Akin to finding a soundtrack for an old spaghetti western on badly worn tape, or Ry Cooder's 'Paris, Texas OST', then throwing in a dash of the Boards of Canada mechanics. This brief description of course falls short of the true magic found within. Just get it. Favorite track: Always Crashing on the Same Wave.

Recorded using both vintage analogue equipment and modern production techniques and with a sound palette that blends layers of haunting guitar melodies, slowly picked lap steel guitar, warm analogue synths, subtle bass lines, minimal beats and spoken word, it’s an emotive album that showcases the trademark sound of The Gentleman Losers at its best."
